I dont think this song is about drugs or a relationship with one person, more like a persons relationship to the outside world. That it feels better to be in the mouth of society being chewed up with the other tasty morsels, rather than sitting on the shelf in shrink wrap. I do see references to drugs in the lyrics though, maybe they are used as a catalyst? Or maybe he feels the most alive when hes under the influence of some chemical? Good song, regardless of what it means to people. |
