..."All cons love their moms?"
Man I hope these lyrics are incorrect cause that kinda sucks Mr. Patton, I expect better from you >_>
Other than that, love the feel to this song. |

^ Good point
Also, the remix version of this at the end of Slow Motion Apocalypse is just so good. Grotus should've been bigger than they were. But whatever. More Grotus for me. |

I guess it's straight forward enough. The Native Americans respected everything, the Sun, the Moon, the stars, the sky, the earth, etc... I suppose this is just a song about their love for the Sun? |

I thought the line was "All your power's our power." Kinda alludes to the totem theme... |

This song has such a bleak, depressing atmosphere. As if the fact that this is a concept album about a serial killer isn't bleak enough, this is it at it's bleakest. As for the meaning? I don't know, and I wish other people would so willing as to make guesses. For Christ's sake, people at the Tool page made 100 comments on pointless filler instrumentals! |

Well, we can assume the protagonist in this concept album has a love interest (Point and Click). Maybe this is him leaving her, or killing her, you decide, and he later reflects on this in Cul de Sac. ("I wish you were here...") |

This song is amazingly peaceful, especially when compared to the opening track of the Anonymous album. I always imagined it playing in the credits at the end of a classic Western movie or something. |

It's worth noting that sexual abuse is also pointed out on the Mit Gas track "Harelip." Least, I think that song's about that... |

I love this song, makes me want to play Borderlands.
Anyway, as for the title, Aktion F1413 was the screening and gassing of elderly detainees in the concentration camps in Nazi Germany. Wikipedia can come in handy, folks. |

I think it's worth noting that Allmusic claimed that Harelip was the "surf-rock" track of the album when it's clearly When The Stars Begin to Fall. Stupid Allmusic. |

They were going to make this song the fourth single for Album of the Year, don't know what stopped them.
Of course, when I think of the meaning to this song, I think of it to be more like the girl's leading him on into thinking she loves him, while HE is the one that becomes obsessed. But he can't help how he feels.
Something among those lines. |

Jim Martin was the guitarist from We Care a Lot to Angel Dust.
There's a bit of lyrics missing from this song, and I can't understand Mosley's voice enough to translate it. |

But Alec's right, it's pretty obvious that the protagonist of the song does die. I also read that ejaculation can only occur after death of this practice, which could explain the "fluids seeping" line. |

When Patton's singing the lines from the fortune cookies, it's pretty easy to detect the sarcasm. Especially when he follows it up with the quote from the Scientology test "Does life seem worthwhile to you?" |

This is my favorite song on the album, and yes, I'm aware that these are Mosley's worst vocals on the cd. But it's addicting! I guess I favor energy over talent (however, seeing how Patton has both, he's clearly the better lead.) Then again, for an energetic guy, he DID fall asleep on stage...
It's simple, Mosley's gonna kill his ex's man.
Jim Martin kicks some serious ass on guitar here.

I don't get a masturbation vibe out of this song at all.
Jesus. Alice in Chains don't write every song about drugs, and Faith No More don't write every song about masturbation!
What an interesting band concept that would be, though... |

Crack Hitler's analysis seemed the best to me. I guess I can see the marriage point of view, too.

| Faith No More – Ricochet Lyrics

The thing that struck me was the possibility that this song is about the aftermath of a woman who left a man for someone else, obviously leaving him bitter and making him think she's a heartless bitch, which she very well may have been. But everything's going right in the life of the heartless bitch, and the guy, whose only wrong was loving her, is falling to pieces.
Just my thoughts.

Hmm... the Mr. Gardner line.
That's gotta be a reference to "Being There," the story about Chance the Gardener (and people mistook his name to be Chauncey Gardner). Everything Chance knew was learned from television.
Just thought I'd try to clarify that. |
