Yeah i agree with what most people have been saying about the media and government's reaction to terrorism, and the demonisation of Islam. Also this song reminds me a lot of The Crucible, that play set during the witch hunts in middle-ages America written as a parallel to the Mcarthy era where suspected communists were 'witch hunted'. I saw it recently and it seems pretty relevant to the song. Anyone else read/seen the play and think so too? |

yeah i reckon this is one of the best chilis songs the lyrics are so beautiful. i think its about him liking a woman but having to get over himself, his ego and the way he escapes with drugs to get back down to earth and be 'worthy' of this woman. but really i have no idea, and it doesnt matter its still a great song whatever, it always inspires me. |

i love phoenix, this ong is great - so catchy. It doesnt matter that their lyrics dont mean much, all their songs are so upbeat and catchy it makes me sing along and feel summery - french pop rules. |
