this song could be about a relationship where the guy has a drug problem and other problems and tells the girl from the beginning that he wasn't going to change and now that she truly loves him and cares about him and really wants him to change because she hates seeing him "high" and screwing up his life, but being stuborn, he won't plus he's addicted but nonetheless so basically the relationship is ruined or being ruined because of it yet he refuses to change...he doesn't care about her enough to get over himself (i've gone through this exact situation if you can't tell) |

I think this song was supposed to mean basically what maekrix said but did anyone besides myself view it as the fact that religion is becoming obsolete, think about it many senor citizens start working at walmart when their funds start to run out. could that be a symbol of jesus losing his power. and it may also be pointing out the hipacracy of the christian religion (ex. "Hold your thoughts and your tongue" and "Close your mind with the door") |
