This is a really interesting song about depression. The imagery is fantastic, with the well metaphor. He describes the falling into depression as the bucket of a well being dropped. For those who have felt that true depression all agree with that metaphor. |

grew up near or in Athens, some maybe they just used the name. I don't really know the significance though. |

I agree with the whole 'Andy LeMaster' idea. I believe that the maria taylor issue is being over analyzed because Conor probably didn't mean a specific bar or collage. I don't know. But it really does go with Andy coming out. |

This song I think was either written when he was 13 and recorded later on or maybe like a flashback of when he was 13.
I think this song was about being afraid of growing into something that he didn't want or something that would make him unhappy. |

There are many ways to look at this song. I think that it is about moving on in life. I also think its about letting things go especially when its a good thing but you just don't think about it being good until later. Like I think the last couple lines is about a relationship that they both like each other but they have come to a point where it would be good for both of them to just move on. |
