To those saying it's about 9/11: I was in highschool with the "kids" at the time. Highland High School, Gilbert AZ- check it if you don't believe me. They weren't thinking about this when it happened- if anything this song is just capitalizing on an event that everyone knows about, and putting a bit of emo spin on it. For shame Kids.
