Sounds all fitting except for some parts that really don't strike me as doggylike...:
"your smile kept me alive" and "my little old friend, a child." Dogs aren't usually referred to as a child or as having a smile.. Maybe it really is about a child who he really found a bond with. |

Well you covered everything there.. of course Tony does not refer to himself or maybe not anyone at all as he has said, he likes to create stories and scenarios, such as Dana, and sometime continues them or refers to them in more than one song.
By the way Niels, you are too modest; your English has not one flaw.. |

Sort of, this person is sucked into "love" because of some good looking gal ("Your pretty face seduced me, Blinded me from how you used me") and how that person keeps falling for the same trap again, till finally one day he realises it, and says "seeya woman, im "blinded no more", but is willing to give eternal love another go, so still seems uncertain about leaving her. |

Generally it't a song saying the implied power (and corruption) guns have given to people everywhere. "stick up on 2nd street" is one example of the corruption "the gun" brings to people. I dissagree with you on one element GGcrono, that is your'e saying these things are done by one person, or hes singing in first person, when in fact he is covering a broad spectrum on what guns do. |

Nope sorry, wrong there Turkey.. It's ultimately about prostitution (Traditionally the prostitute and customer could have sex till the candle burnt down). He is singing about how the male mind generally works and how he cannot see the truth, and beauty behind the lady that is the prostitute. It's all there to see when you got the general idea. |
