It`s one of my favourite songs, too. I look at it like DurangO: the man prefers the simple things. It reminds me on another lyric: I got plenty of nothing. Nevertheless I think the man is depressed and he is not expecting anything from future. But he accepts it, and that is the positiv meaning of the text. And think about of the value of beeing able to waste time in this days : ). |
