| i don't think you can define this song because it can mean so many different things to a range of people, as I have noticed by reading these meanings. Love the lyrics "sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same" but I have no idea why but my favourite lyrics there are "and all at once the crowd begins to sing". It might be coz with everyones meanings its like everyone can see whats happening and what is right and what is wrong, wheteher its hard or easy, they can all still see it. | |

Well I think it's about being in love with a girl/guy who is taken by someone like your best mate (whether a guy or girl). And you wish you didn't love them and you know you shouldn't but it's a decision of the heart not mind, so you just can't help it. I'm not a Jesse fan at all, but I think this song is very nice and he did a good job. And I personally have been able to relate to this song, and I've had someone relate to it about me, so therefore I appreciate this song. Cheers! |

Yes the band probably did write this about "the god aspect". But I don't think any song can be given a meaning. To me, a song or music means something different, slightly or greatly, but something different to everyone. This song could have so many meanings and to me it is means you are losing someone that you love, in a friend way or boyfriend/girlfriend way, and they are drifting away or walking away from you and it tears you up. love the song. xx |
