The lyrics *are* 'Pope Paul, Malcom X...' I have the actual album, it has the lyrics in the booklet. And 'Rock and roller cola wars' is correct. Aside from that. This song is amazingly catchy, original, fabulous...yeah. You get the idea. I have the lyrics memorized, I listen to it that much. Amazing song!! |

So I guess I'm one of the few people who doesn't relate this song to breaking up...huh. Well...guess I'm going to add my own story to this collection. I've been friends with this guy for a while, and I recently realized that I felt more than just friendship with him...he feels the same way, but we don't know how things are going to work out right now, because he's leaving for college...but we can't deny how close we are...so this song fits so much. Yeah. I guess that explanation wasn't too great. But what I was trying to say was, it's an amazing song and I love it. Yeah. |

Yeah, this song can be for anyone, when you change the name and the place. I love that about it. It's so easy to relate to. My boyfriend emailed his own version of it from college to me... "Hey there Katie, what's it like back in Palm Desert..." It made me cry. Enough said. Such an amazingly simple yet sweet song. It's on repeat right now. |

Tyler Hilton's mom was my P.E. teacher in elementary school. I just felt the need to mention that =] Anyways. This is such an amazing song. I wish I'd found it sooner, when I was going through that same situation. I've finally moved on though =] But still, it makes me a little sad to listen to this and remember. |
