I agree with Jed 91, dont get me wrong, its a good song but there are far better on the album i think. My favorites are wet sand, slow cheeta, make you feel better, strip my mind

This is my favorite Pink Floyd song ever. The lyrics are brilliant and it such a peaceful song. I agree that the first verse is about the stopping of time and what happens in those few moments. I think the second verse is about looking back on small things htat happen in your life and wishing you would have done something different. As someone passes you in the street and you glance and each other only for a moment but instead of saying anything you both just keep walking.
