I kinda love and hate this song I think it's about a girl/woman who had fallen in love with a guy (so she tought) and she started to imagine how nice would be her life by his side, but after spending some time with him he started to get colder towards her and more distant ,thing wich she does too finally (i used to want to make you talk/now i would rather you did not ; i used to want to make you mine now i have better things in mind...). After seeing the reality of what that "love" is she gets confused not understanding it anymore but also not having the energy (anymore)/the interest to find out what it means at that point (i won't try to explain what i cannot understand/it's a bird it's a plane it's a one night stand). As the illusional world from her mind comes crashing she gets repulsed toughts about trying to remember the original feeling. The lines i like most are: i don't mind if you read while i'm coming it's alright if you need the t.v. to keep from noticing my mind going blank.. In the end i think i love this song.. well in a weird way (: |
