I think it is making fun of what goth has become, with teens claiming Korn, Slipknot etc are gothic. I do not think it was making fun of "proper" goths, as Razed In Black has a gothic fanbase. I am a a teenager, and i listen to Gothic (more industrial though) and when people ask me what music i listen to, and i say gothic, they assume i mean Nu metal bands...Tools. |

Haha Why are people referring to Cannibal Corpse as gothic? they are a death metal band. Bahaus, Sisters Of Mercy, Joy Division sound nothing like Cannibal Corpse. Despite being gory, their lyrics are still well written, and it makes sense. |

First off, awesome song only heard it recently. I think its about people wanting money as a reward, and how people get no reward out of religion. People can do 'evil' things and be rich and have no punishment. Conversely people can be poor and very fiathful to their religion and get no reward. |
