i think its actually "relentless lip surface remedial fascist..." do you think its about a afghani cop watching his country and doing wrong things for the 'right' reasons? |

i LOVE this song!! really really! i didnt at first but the words started sinking in and damn! i love the simple enough line of "Your door was open, There were flowers on the table, holding up the ceiling." plus i would love to be at his place where the future never comes, sounds wonderful! |

| hey, in answer to myself... :P i just heard 'whatever it takes' for the first time and i think i may have been right in the previous comment, whether its written for him or through someone elses eyes is very hard with jason though... | |

its all good viva, a song is whatever you make of it or how the words relate to a certain part of your life, its pretty much impossible to actually know what the writer was thinking of without them telling you. so you cant be wrong :D i dont know much history about the band members like whether jasons married or anything, but if we follow your train of thought then is it possible that jason was going through a difficult time that reminded him of the things that pulled his parent apart and this is about going back and fixing it before that happens to him? i really dont know what im talking about, im just throwing things around :P and this still isnt out in oz! i cant find a release date on the album either...iv managed to find almost all the songs on limewire...but dont worry peoples! when the actual album comes out im def gonna buy it so they get their money!! :D |

| Lifehouse – The Joke Lyrics | 18 years ago |

any reason for that outburst cruci? grow up i wanna know where this huge vocal range of his has come from! previously songs like 'take me away' have sounded like the limit of jasons range but these new songs have blown that out of the water, its good, but im confused as to why he hasnt stretched like this before? maybe the strained sound didnt fit in with the sound of the older songs? |

| Lifehouse – Broken Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| lifehouse have heaps of religous songs, so theres no reason this one would be any different, but im not sure in this case, a song can be about more than one thing though, so it might be a mix of a few things. other very religous songs include 'everything' 'anchor' 'crown of thorns' 'storm' and many more, but like i said i dont think this one is outrightly religous though it may have some overtones | |
| Lifehouse – Who We Are Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Mine says "Trying not to forget Who we were Where we're at And here we go" "I turn the radio on To drown me out" i think it s a reflective song on memories etc, it seems to indicate that he wanted to keep the initial memories rather than what he though after 'we break bend etc' that people change and go through things and that we cen understand who we are (and who other people are) throuhg that, whether we like it/dont like it or its good/bad...well it could go either way, the verse seems to put a slightly negative spin on it and despite the chorus about falling apart it seems to be an upbeat and suprisingly positive song |

| Lifehouse – The Joke Lyrics | 18 years ago |

i think the phrase may actually be "You said you were pretending Heres to unhappy endings Oh, the joke is on you " thats what it sounds like and that makes more sense, its def about suicide i think although i dont know who's, its a different writing style for jason isnt it? this album isnt out in Australia yet so im yet to hear the other songs :S |
