Black Label Society – Mass Murder Machine Lyrics 18 years ago
My other thoughts on this song:

It could either be about his father and how Zakk imagined how he felt in the war, being around darkness all of the time.

Or, one could also assume this is written for the slave days in America when they were treated poorly and never felt like human beings.

Anyway, the solo near the end of the song is my favourite. Infact, this song is my second favourite by him. Anyway. heh.

This has to be one of my top favourite Zakk/BLS songs. It's one of those songs I will always hum to when listening to it.

The meaning is quite simple, too. Our natural consequences when we try to cheat, steal or hurt adds up... leading to the mass murder machine, the final destination in life's wild, excess garbage. It's best to say we cannot escape fate and that maybe some people believe somedays that they wish they were done for cause they cannot bare the natural consequences any longer.

Black Label Society – Spoke In The Wheel Lyrics 18 years ago
Fuck GnR, Fuck Slash cause BLS and Zakk is better. Speaking of it, Slash is one of those highly praised piece of shits whose (un)talented skill is exploited by millions just to create a trend/fashion statement. I mean, really, what the fuck is the difference between Sweet Child O' Mine and Welcome to the Jungle? Having said that, all of the songs from them sound the same. This is why I hate Slash and hope he chokes on his own pride.

Well I love this song and now that I've figured it out here that one of the most overrated piece of shit bands made him look like a loser, this song means much more. SDMF MOTHERFUCKER! And don't you ever forget it you fucking jokes, GnR. See you in hell you two-faced pricks.

Black Label Society – Too Tough To Die Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is easily my favourite of of the Mafia album. What it means is that you should not worry too much on death and the beyond 'cause that shit will happen when the time comes. Everyone dies at one point and Zakk (and most likelyt the crew) believe it's not right to question it constantly. BLS MOTHERFUCKER!

One of the best Black Label Society songs, hands down. It is set up so fluently... pure kickass metal.

You thought his Book of Shadows kicked so much ass? Thought his Mafia was the best? YOU BLOKES.
BUY THIS FUCKING ALBUM, RESPECT THE BLS MOTHERFUCKER! =)

Black Label Society – In This River Lyrics 18 years ago
I meant "Miserable people who search to feed off of tragedy and pain" *

Wow, I guess 40 seconds can really make minor mistakes. At least it's NOT MAJOR!!! Take care, argue or whatever you blokes. I'm all about the music! You should be, too.

I think that yes, there are so many idiots in the world. Yes, people exploit guitarists like Dimebag because of the band he was in that caused much controversy due to explicit music and harshness in the music and the fact he got shot at blank point, into the head. First quetion comes to mind: Who the fuck in the right mind would even care to exploit hardworking, artful people? Pain seekers, that's who.

Why do you think bands save themselves by going Indie in the first place? Most older bands, such as W.A.S.P., play overseas instead of the U.S. because people like you sit here just to be "in" with things because it is popular. Quit joking you blokes.

ANYWHO, the song isn't as serious because Metal doesn't always have to be serious. Rather, this is a light hearted yet affectionate tribute to Dimebag Darrell since he knew of Zakk Wylde and Zakk knew of him. I'm sure he deserved the respect he got (considering the fact Zakk always experiments and recreates his songs one by one)

Just goes to show you that someone ordinary can sum up this wonderful song in about 40 seconds or less. Not my favourite song or album but... BLS MOTHERFUCKER!

This song is amazingly great. It's either Devin being sarcastic or real about how alone he is sometimes. Being bi-polar, he most likely is feeling that way sometimes. I dunno. Great song though.

Third Eye Blind – Gorgeous Lyrics 18 years ago
I usually experiment with 3eb cover songs. This one is one of my favourites to mess around with. It's just as the song name implies, it's "Gorgeous" but bitter. Love it!

I don't know what to say... other than this song is probably one of their best ones ever.

Pantera – Suicide Note Pt. 1 Lyrics 18 years ago
I could only agree with Johnny. Fuck you people and stop spamming your arguements. Talk about music and be chill with each other. That's exactly what it should be like.

Anyway, this song just really draws you in... Extremely dark. It shows how dark stories in life can be portrayed as also being really beautiful and self-assuring.

My whole thoughts on this song is about someone (possibly Phil) just coming down off of drugs, at the point where he can't make up his mind about what he should do. The thoughts that came through this person's head were very suicidal (hence, the song name) and he has question boiling in his mind if it would make him better to try and kill himself again or would he even survive the next time it happens? If he did, would anyone be affected?
Those are the kinds of thoughts going through his head.

So once you go through this dark-oriented song, then it branches off into a total flurry of rage in Part 2, where the music and vocals go insane. Almost as if you were tricked 'cause the whole mood changes! Very sarcastic and obnoxious, but in a way, his seriousness of questioning is still there. Fucking can't make up his mind!
Haha! Very fine progression Pantera left on this world.

Pantera – Suicide Note Pt. 2 Lyrics 18 years ago
This is by far their best album to date. I can see clearly that not that many people appreciate this album as much as the others 'cause it's too brutal... But they're wrong.

As for this song, this sound perfectly describes my insanity when I don't give a shit about life and it's bullshit. It's so real, this sound is definitely going to make anyone fill up with total hostility, either driving them to kill people or run loose and do crazy shit.

haha... I love this album. I keep coming back to it more and more than their other albums. Matter of fact... I think this whole album is about how fucked up shit is and how real people like Pantera are., Anyway, I'm getting all mixed up here. THIS SONG RIPS SHREDS!!!! METAL!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Tool – Pushit (Live) Lyrics 18 years ago
I've heard this song many times and I never get tired of it. The first time I heard it, it really made me shed some tears and I can assure you all that doesn't happen often. Amazing how they grab your attention.

But like most people, this live version of the song really hits me hard since it reminds me of my past life and how it has built up to here, almost being 18 and moving out on my own, with really little to no family or friends.

It shows that even in the darkest situations in life, there's always the noble, strong side to move on "Remember I will always love you, as I claw your fucking throat away. It will end no other way."

Manyard is right when he screams that "There's no love in fear" and that part just gives me a million emotions at once and touches my heart in no other way... Inspires the hell out of me each time.

Gives me such a hopeful vibe whilst in a dark tone. Tool is Godly amazing musicians. They can never be replaced in my heart, they such great musicians...

I love them for being so... real... down to earth...

There's not many bands at all left like Tool...

They're all carbon copies and fakes. Praise Tool for real music and not just some hip trend.

The Prodigy – Firestarter Lyrics 18 years ago
Liam may say that and most other people may call it complete arsen, but I think it's actually from a political standpoint: It's an anthem against the righteousness and hypocrisy of the United States of America (Ever heard of "Their Law"? Similar to that, Liam definitely designed it from that)

Anyway, you notice how the US government jumps into anything they can and tries to make acts of justice to boost their moral status? Then other countries come in, fight back and forth. Hence, "I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter. You're the firestarter, twisted firestarter."

See? This is where The Prodigy wanted to put their beliefs on the US, because they very well knew most people don't give a shit about the meanings of their songs, so only educated or die hard fans of the band would be able to figure it out.

If you watch the video and pay attention to the way Flint is dancing, you should figure out the picture that he is portraying. He is portraying the endless wars waged between humankind and my, how endless it is.

For anyone who wonders what kind of song this is: This is the song for you to shove in the government's faces on all honest levels of angst. Rock. The Prodigy are my Electro-Punk Gods.
