i'm just getting into this band. I love this song. I love when an album rocks all the way through to the end, and the last song sends you off in such a great way. Not many bands do that anymore. Also, the bands previous album gave the exact same feeling with "the end" |

Has anyone thought about this theory? At the end of this song, after all 57 hails have been said and done, they go into a little solo resembling the Final Cut. Now with that being said, the solo very much sounds like Pink Floyd. Let alone the fact that Pink Floyd has and album by the same name. Now think back to In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3. The hidden track was an obvious tribute to Rush. Going to the end of Good Apollo Vol 1, there was an obvious tribute to Led Zeppelin. And now at the end of this song there is a solo thats sounds very much like Pink Floyd. What do you think? A nod to the bands they most resemble? |

When i first started listening to Gish, this song stuck out the most. The solo part at the end when the drums are building up faster and faster always reminded me of Stranglehold from Ted Nugent. |
