Is this song patriotic? It all depends on your point of view. If you think of patriotic as in 'support the actions of the government no matter what,' then this song is definitely not patriotic. But I view this song as patriotic in the sense that it's a calling to our nation's problems and tries to surface truth. And that Americans can and should fight for something better within our own government. |
