The Jam – A Solid Bond In Your Heart Lyrics 18 years ago
I always thought this was a Style Council song, who were never intended to be like The Jam.

The Jam – Town Called Malice Lyrics 18 years ago
Good on ya Harley-01. What you've gotta ask your mates is will the hip-hop they like still be around in 25/30 years time? I doubt it! Also it has no relevance to life in the U.K., Wellers music does!

The Jam – Going Underground Lyrics 18 years ago
This song reminds me of being 16 and thinking what a great band The Jam were, and still are! A brilliant "angry young man" song which still holds true today. I always thought the line was, "the facts you see are the facts you get" not " what you see is what you get" but that doesn't matter the best line is, " you choose your leaders to place your trust and their lies wash you down and their promises rust!" is so true ! Whatever party is in power never keeps it's promises and always stiches the poor and working class up, big time. Mr Weller should be proud of this as one of his greatest songs.
