this song, to me, is about a guy who's in an off and on relationship with a girl. He obviously loves her, but she doesn't return the feelings. They get back together, break up, and repeat the cycle. their relationship is a "car crash", a "wreck". he's tired of her playing with his emotions and wants some restitution. This time, he's saying he "won't stop her". He's gonna finally let her leave. absolutely love this song. |

it's "mannequin" not "manikin" i absolutely love this song. i think it's about when, in a spiritual sense, god's light leaves you and you're left feeling alone and in doubt when you knew you could have prevented it. i'm not sure though. just a thought. |

this song is what helped me decide that i really wanted to be with the guy i'm dating now. he asked me out and i wasn't sure... and i listened to this song and i realized how much i really cared about him. i went back to him and told him i wanted nothing more than to be with him. definitely a song that's close to my heart. |
