it is about how someone trusted someone, but did something to him that made the first one distrust him really hard "the first days of my last days" the day he revealed the truth about that one "climbed up real high now fall down real far" every goal requires sacrificing sacrifices are the climb and the first part of the fall(while you fear the hit against the ground), means the way to truth, and freeing from that person the goal is the freedom sensation while you are falling (going away from falseness), the sacrifice is the climb and the first part of the fall, while you fear the hit against the ground (the introspection that makes a disconection from the world) "i put my faith in god and my trust in you" putting his faith in god means the way to let happen wahtever has to happen he is talking about past when he trusted that one who hurt him wish there was something real wish there was something true wish there was something real in this world full of you" here's the hit against the ground: wherever he look at, he sees someone to untrust (a copy of the same person) i agree with sinistercontrivance in the rest of her explanations excuse my low level of english language please (i understand so much but telling my ideas is harder than that for me) |

i think this song talks about anger and how could it make people go mad, and talks to a person that (maybe) will be an accomplice in some wicked plan to quench the protagonist's thirst for revenge - "Come get gotten, reelin' and rotten beneath" it's a metaphor: "reeling" means getting unstraight to the point about who did it (the wicked plan), "rotten" means corrupted/insane - "You'll be smilin' before you know" cause fucking enemies is enjoyable - "We're all rotten..." WE, the protagonist is insane so maybe it has multiple personality disorder, or "pretends" to be two people or more - "You really can't be lookin' so surprised" believing in the possibility that seeks the protagonist guilty is not so crazy - "It really is a wicked way to die" the protagonist will die hated - "Doesn't it seem to resound like an old memory" the "sweet melody" is the person who the protagonist was before twisting its mind - "Screamin' and cryin' we'll have none of that" the protagonist is mercyless - "You had your chance now just sit and relax" keeping your mind cold, you ease all - "If you can't beat them, might as well eat them" feeding your longing for revenge is preferable than giving somebody a beating, "eat" means to feed it - "No ones getting out alive" too many people will be fucked - "They're all just so pathetic, It's all psycosomatic" conspiring you can create paranoia in some people, people will answer... "who?" - "The more they think the more we know" you can see their paranoia, you are the master (with power) and they are lambs (with doubts, and madness) - "So welcome home" the protagonist offers a chance to quench its thirst for revenge too, and welcomes the accomplice PD: please excuse my low leveled english, and correct my phrases to let me know how to make them right... if you want |
