I totally agree with spacecostanza...this song is definitely talking about going to heaven and get back together with your lost soulmate. I heard it for the first time in the movie Moonlight Mile and I actually got it with Jeff Buckley first..one of my fav singers...before getting the one originally sung by Van. And today when I was listening to it again it struck me the fact that it can only be talking about heaven "and I'll never grow so old again" gives it all away. This is an awesome song for sure...one of the best ever written...just love it! |

I live in a city where it rains for most of the year and when it's not raining it's super cloudy...thankfully the rare occasions when the sun is out it sticks around for some days sometimes weeks in a row..that's when that song always comes to my mind...I hardly ever get to notice the suicide hint on it and I feel there's a lot more to grasp than that! I like this song! |
