| Tool – Die Eier Von Satan Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
As I started reading the comments to this song, I really was shocked that so many of you still connect Germany with nazis and immediately are reminded of Hitler when listening to the german language. I am german and I can assure you that today there are hardly any nazis loving here. I'm tired of always beeing connected to nazis just because I am german. I know quiet well that was had happened in the past was fucking bullshit but I can't change it and I don't want to be blamed for it. Glad that some of you just got it that german isn't just the same as nazi and contradicted. I just hope that one day all of you will get it and don't jugde my country by the mistakes made in the past but by it's todays attitude and behaviour. |

| Scott Stapp – Fight Song Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
In my opinion this song is also about the dispute between scott stapp and mark tremonti that split the band creed. Scott tries to start again and to forgive the others, but it is very hard for him. So he writes about this a "fight song", although he says he wouldn't look with hatred on the others and the past. |

| Creed – In America Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| You're right, it's not right to deny the religious influence on the lyrics...and I don't do so, I just think that it has no decisive effect on the main content... | |
| Incubus – Love Hurts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| xD sorry, but I must completly disagree with you....I for myself think that nearly the best song from this album....and I also like the lyrics...anyway...there are also some other very good songs...all in all I can't wait to see them in june in germany!!! | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Snow (Hey Oh) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'm not sure...but might it by that anthony is on drugs again and this song is nothing but a cry for help? I was on a concert in novermber (munich in germany) and he didn't look fine... | |
| Creed – Don't Stop Dancing Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Did you notice that dancing or playing children often are mentioned in songs by scott? "Children, don't stop dancing..." in here, "Like children with no vision do exactly what they're told" in say I "Watching som children laugh and play, They're running in circles With candy canes and French braids Inspired to question What makes us grown-ups anyway? Let's search for the moment When youth betrayed itself to wait" I think scott believes in the youth as our only hope of creating a better world. He tries to tell the youth always to keep on asking and criticizing and never to stop moving or building up new things |

| Creed – In America Lyrics | 19 years ago |

what to hell are you writing in here??? creed is a band with high moral ideas, most of the lyrics are against mental slavery, racism and war...maybe they are some kind of religious...but this doesn't disturb me, although I don't believe in that there is a CRISTIAN or a ISLAMIC or a JEWISH god...don't you think it's just one god??? Anyway, I think creed is a band that tries to impart moral guidelines...and I think it's just unsuitable and ridiculous to write SUCH comments under that lyrics! PS.: I'm from germany (you probably see this because of my mistakes) and I think the problems mentioned in this song don't only exist in america, but also in europe |

| Nirvana – Something in the Way Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
don't you see the irony in this song??? Especially the last line "It's okay to eat fish, cause they don't have any feelings" is just meant rhetorically...In my opinion Kurt wants to draw the peoples attention on the superficial, stereotyping way people use to see everything, he dislikes the idea of hurting someone, just because it is said, that the victime wouldn't care about it... a fish does have fellings, it can feel pain like eyeryother animal, it just can scream to express it xD Anyway, I might be wrong...I read Kurt's diary and he wrote more than one time that he thinks himself, that his lyrics don't make to much sence... |

| Creed – Who's Got My Back? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'm from germany and although I believe that my english isn't that bad, I really have some problems with understanding the meaning of the chorus. Is "Who's got my back now" a saying or something like this? If you translate this word by word it doesn't make much sence... | |
| Juli – Regen und Meer Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this is really a wonderful song...it's a pity that there are no comments... I'm from germany and so I translated it for you (I know my english ain't that good, but I tried my best. Please correct my mistakes! You’re not like me But this doesn’t change That you’re with me And I’m watching you sleeping You’re still not awake I was the whole night through And asked myself silently What you will do when I’m leaving now And then I’ll leave your town I’m watching back and feeling sad Because a moment ago that thing started That you don’t want and I want it so much I’m the rain and you’re the sea I thought I could make it Could let it be But it doesn’t work I overdid it a little bit With loving you But it doesn’t work I tried everything To hate you But it doesn’t work It doesn’t work I’m not like you I’m closing my eyes And walk blindly through the streets Here I am, but where are you? Might this be everything I was alone for such a long time Everything was really all right Really okay, until you came And now I’m leaving your town I’m watching back and feeling sad Because a moment ago that thing started That you don’t want and I want it so much I’m the rain and you’re the sea I thought I could make it Could let it be But it doesn’t work I overdid it a little bit With loving you But it doesn’t work I tried everything To hate you But it doesn’t work It doesn’t work I’m the rain and you’re the sea Gentle rain is falling silently I’m the rain and you’re the sea Gentle rain has wide repercussions in the water I thought I could make it Could let it be But it doesn’t work I overdid it a little bit With loving you But it doesn’t work I tried everything To hate you But it doesn’t work It doesn’t work I thought I could make it Could let it be This song is about a girl who loves boy. She knows that he doesn't share her love and so she tries to get away from him and forget him, she even tries to hate him, but she can't. As she realises this, she leaves the town for never seeing him again. |

I'm from germany and we have saying about this band: Bill Kaulitz (the singer) is the only one who has more number-one hits than hairs on his balls *g* If I have to listen to that music I'm ashamed of being german =) |

I'm from germany...I know my english ain't that good...but I'm trying to translate this for you, because I think it's really a wonderful song reflecting my feelings... Please correct my mistakes! Did you believe, did you hope that everything would become better? Did you cry, did you plead because everything is different now? Where is the time, where is the sea? She's missing, she's missing here. You're asking me, what is keeping her so long The nights come, the days go, It's turning, Didn't you see the fragment on that you are going on? Where is the light, where is your star? He is missing, he is missing here Is everything gonna be different? (three times) Yes I know, it was a great time, No way was to far for us, You're missing here Yes I know, it was a great time, Hey I'm sorry, it's over now. You want to get away, you want to get out of here, you want to have the time back, you're breathing in, you're breathing out, but nothing changes Where is the night, where is the way? How far, how far? You ask me where we have been Is everything gonna be different? Yes I know, it was a great time, No way was to far for us, You're missing here Yes I know, it was a great time, Hey I'm sorry, it's over now. Yes I know, it was a great time, Hey I'm sorry, it's over now. The lights are out, it's hard to understand You're watching helplessly the hands moving You're seeing your star, nothing can destroy it now You know that it was great, that it was great, I know that it was great (What is time, what is time...is it still far? What is time, what is time...what is the price?) Yes I know, it was a great time, No way was to far for us, You're missing here Yes I know, it was a great time, Hey I'm sorry, it's over now. Yes I know, it was a great time, Hey I'm sorry, it's over now. It's over now This song is about the end of a relationship...after it the girl is as well sad as the boy...both can't understand why it had come to and end. The remarkable thing is that the verses are written by a impartial, neural observer. The chorus is written in the view of the girl. |

| Dream Theater – Trial of Tears Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I especially like the last part...it's very calm and somehow it makes me thinking about war victims every time I hear it...ain't the lyrics just wonderful? | |
| Creed – One Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think creed is really a good band writing awesome lyrics...I'm from germany (you probably see this because my english ain't that good) and I often have problems with understanding the lyrics before I see it written down...but this style of the music, especially that song reflects my feelings...and if I read the lyrics of songs like that one, I really have to say that creed is one of my favourite bands! @PJ10: In think you should give some reasons for your opinion. In that way I cannot take your criticism seriously |

| Creed – Say I Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I also love creed...suppose this song is made to tell that everyone is responsible (to blame) if mankind will not survive...I think this song is very compatible to the recent news about global warming... | |
