This song is about a Fiat sub-compact city car known as the 500 "Topolino", or "little mouse". It did shake, it did brake (poorly), and it did frequently leave you with no choice but the railway station. That said, people still love it for its "famous shape" and it was so popular that it remained in production in one form or another from 1937 through today. They certainly don't make them like this anymore - and thank God for that. Mazo. |
