I love the way the actual music in this song sounds almost psychotic. It's like, almost happy (or almost too happy) but there's something wrong with it - to the point where the person singing is insanely kidding himself he's happy and everything is fine. I think the song is about an ex who has cheated on him possibly - left him for someone else. He's so upset that he refuses to believe it and kids himself she's still in love with him and she's going to return. People keep telling him she's cheated and shouldn't be trusted and won't come back, but it's like his insanity makes him see these people as liars and people who "can't see". It's rather tragic. |
