It's made me cry three times in the last 24 hours, because it just recently entered my consciousness again, and I thought of my boyfriend, and how simply lost and in pain I would be if he was ever gone.... :_(
I came on here expecting people to say how great it was, despite the fact that being overplayed makes it lose some of its value (quantity kills the quality??), but instead you get these people... Titanic is a beautiful love story, with a beautifully tragic ending, and this beautiful song to go with it. I dislike her accent, but otherwise she sings just fine and with so much emotion....
I swear, by the typos and attitudes of everyone on here, I can tell they're just a bunch of immature assholes who've never known REAL love and never known the pain, real or imagined, of losing that one person. |

I think the meaning is pretty clear, which is so bittersweet and beautiful. You love someone, they'll always be in your heart, and I like to think it was about someone dying, not just breaking up. It's more tragic for me that way (also fits its movie better), and that's how I like it. And even though it's supposed to be uplifting, that you will keep on living, it mostly depresses me. |
