damn alot of these songs are about hostility towards saosin.... i had no idea they had such a history. but yes this sounds very eternal sunshine like, and it's odd how anthony made everything so litteral. this is probably the most simplest of the songs to decode and get the feel of. ....and that scream that anthony does is pretty awesome at the beginning. definately one of the less slow songs by circa veryjumpy. lol |

I don't think it should be taken literally as cocaine, even though there's a 89% it is. cocaine could symbol like a negative influence affecting relationship, but not nesseccarily cocaine. but then i don't get the title.... "we're all theives"? come on someone tell me. wouldnt the cocaine be the theif.....?..... like it's robbing the relationship of it's love or something? i think everyone here is a little off cause i can't make a connection between the title and the song. |

i remember just getting circa's CD and i saw the name of the last song on the back cover. "I'm like holy shit that's in eternal sunshine." which is awesome cause that is my favorite movie. and i also questioned wish resigned after hearing the alexander pope quote. but the album is awesome and it is definately almost like an eternal sunshine soundtrack. It's like you can visualize the songs playing over like most scene. amazing album. Circa is so different, and anthony's vocals are strangely high pitched without being faggy..... lol. i was shocked at how good they perform live....and wait, anthony was in saosin?! |

your my star is completely right. like the most of the songs on dream to make believe, it is about feeling alienated from the world. but honestly i take it as alienating yourself from the world, not being alienated by people. like he said, "I can speak until the world ends,". or "I'll register with the wanderers guild, and be a nomad with a billion words"......it's about being a dreamer and actually being fine in your own little world. i heard that ben was very withdrawn as a teen and kid growing up, not because he was depressed, but because he was only thinking (he actually very much reminds me of myself) and analyzing his life. they just thought he was depressive and put him on pills and shit. which he said didn't do anything.....BECAUSE HE WASN"T DEPRESSED. armor is not making music for depressed teenagers. even though the music can be taken in a depressive way, i see it more as thought provoking. and i'm sure ben does. the music is neither happy nor sad |

i swear to god he says "If all i am is a stretcher for you." not distraction nor stretching. it would make my sense, with him saying like "it's okay if i'm your crutch". like the songs about a girl/guy he cares about but only comes to him when he/she is down. It's kind of pathetic actually, but they sure express the emotion well. armor is one of favorite bands, and probably THE favorite |
