Seer's could stand for The tower in CHicago but that's spelt Sears Tower. I think the Seer's is a refernce to fire plus the tallest tower in Chicago |

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and interpret this song a little different;y. To me it seems as though this song as about a young mischievous boy who is often in troulbe with the law and finally gets caught by the polic for all the shit he's done. AFter that he uses his one phone call to call his ex girlfriend to help him get released by making up a fake alibi that they were together the night he committed the crime. When he says i summon you, he is summoning a witness to the stand in court to vouche for him and say he didn't commit a crime. All that lines like "I need a release" "That don't get me off" he's tlaking about being set free from prison and the law. In a way, his crimes have brought him back to his love as he's saying to her you;ve got to help me get out in the lines "remember the weight of the world coming down like a mother's eye, and all that you can give all that you can give is a cold goodbye". This line basically means that after all we've been through, your willing to leave me and not help me get out. I'm still figruing out some other parts but thats what the song's overall meaning is to me. |
