I saw Jack's Mannequin on V day and they played this song. During the set, he mentioned how he spent 6 months in Arizona with the woman who is now his wife. One can only assume hes referencing that era. Of course, when he mentioned that era, he was talking about "She Paints Me Blue". Background story: they spent 6 months in a house in the middle of a desert and all they had for light at night was a blue bulb. Wrong song, but the Arizona stars reference is probably for that reason. |
