its awsome yes but I do have to agree with the fact that its about Dirk. Whoever said that this song was a political statement is a total crazy. "yes men too can be on the rag" means that how much time they would have to be stuck together made them fight with eachother (the band) but not hate eachother. and then here comes the drug references... "So take another hit, steal another line" which also reveals the "share the spit" thing ... you pass it around ... that rumor of being bi is a RUMOR! one that I am curious about though... "When you were down I always picked you up" they are FRIENDS which crosses out the being bi together thing. and the most obvious thing...the chorus "the ride's over did you enjoy yourself?" he's saying its over for dirk he's out and asking if he enjoyed his stay ... the experience of rising to the top while it lasted. Still Glass is crazy... hah political statement i guess whatever you say |

nov 11 could mean veterans day but in canada its also rememberance day a day to remember the ones that past away to me this song means if i could only have one last kiss to help me live ... since you are now gone? and even though you are away, there is still something that keeps us together (hence the string - which is tied to a kite to be set free) i dont know ... just throwing my thoughts out there |
