I think it also implies that there's no excuse for being a racist, with the line "We kicked the little baby's head against the wall". I don't think they're saying they'd kick a baby's head against a wall, but they wouldn't take "I've been brought up like this" as an excuse for racism. I'm sure they'd kick a granny's head against the wall, despite the fact that racism was much more 'acceptable' in the old days. |
