i think the song is about a girl going insane. she starts seeing her own face everywhere and falls in love with her, even though she knows it can't be real. This imaginary vision of herself returns every time she is alone and crying, at night. She escapes with herself - which is like a magic made for tragic minds. She whispered to herself that things would always be this way, she would always be insane. But her second mind keeps on meddling with her life and complicating things, getting more difficult to hide - the repeat. To me, the song is like a story of a girl's conversation with herself. i really love imagining the atmosphere of each scene. this song is one of my favourites.
I think my interpretation makes no sence :D But then again, i never really knew the first verse properly. The song seems a lot different without it. I like greggor's interpretation (which is probally a lot more like what it was ment to be) |
