unlike everyone else. i cant stand that it's on the OC. i think that show is too mainstream and materialistic and it turned this song into just another one of their cookie cutter new trend. this song has so much meaning behind it and i think they should have just gone with something else instead of corrupting this one. |

the first time i listened to this song i literally cried.
the way he puts all the words together so poetically is amazing and the way he's genuinely worshipping the Lord in the song just makes it that much better |

and in responce to the comment about prostitution made by "oh brave new world", it is about Jesus showing love to those people that really dont have anyone else. He is the ultimate best friend and is always there for those who need him and desire a personal relationship with him.
i'm sorry if you dont like my point of view but it's not going to change. God is my life and when i hear about someone praising him in such a wonderful manner i have to respect it and defend it. |

i really dont see why people have such a big problem with christian music being about Christ. Heaven forbid we actually worship our Lord and savior and show our love for him through song.

i adore this song so much. i have written on my mirror "hey unloving, i will love you!" and its been there for about 2 years now just to remind me that God does love me no matter what i do or how far i stray. every time i hear this song it brings me to tears because it shows the real love that God has for me.
i havent listened to it in a while because last time i listened to it, the song became too routine for me. i dont want it to ever grow old |

there is no need for anyone to be rude about what the song means to THEM. everyone is different and interprets things differently. if you want it to be about God then you can make it about God but if you dont then think of it as something else.
personally i see it as Jesus speaking to his children and telling us what he has done for us and proving his love for us.
Think of it how you want, there is no reason to attack anyone for their opinion even if you think its wrong. just respect each other |
