this song is absolutely awesome. it reminds me of the days id travel with my uncle. this was one of our favorite sing alongs. hes a big santana fan its basically talking about a hook up or something that turned him around and he started really liking the girl and now he wants her to give him her heart to make his feelings worth it. amazing guitars. and the fact that its in pop stations means nothing. liking or disliking a song because of what station plays it is bogus and shallow. music is music. you like it or you dont. -Leo |

this song is pretty awesome. to me, when cute wrote this, they were talking about "the curse of curves" refering to the way girls attract assholes. which is where "the gift of one liners" comes in. to the guy its a good thing. because with his "gift" he could get as many good looking girls as he wants. which then turns into a curse for the girls.. who attracted the guy with her beauty, now is being hurt emotionally by the very guy who used the one liner to make her smile. then the shallow guy falls for a girl. "You're a dead fit But my wit won't allow it The inside lingo had me at hello And we go where the money goes" but since hes used to playing out girls.. his "wit" wont allow him to stop using one liners. with skin you'll win means basically girls who flaunt themselves attract the one line guys. i want someone provocative and talkative this confused me a little.. it could mean that the guy is looking for a girl whose more then just good looks.. and who knows how to hold a conversation. thats how i interprit it. but i dont usually look at things like others.. so feel free to critisize. -Leo |
