| Seems like it would be a cool song to see live. | |
| Daphne Loves Derby – sundays Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This is mostly about a couple who is splitting apart, mainly because of the girl. The guy still wants to stay together, "maybe i need to listen more carefully". The girl, who has turned into a bit of a bad person, wants not to keep her horrid boyfriend but, instead, to be one of those ladies in church, "in her sunday dress/humming simple melodies she's known since she was only three". I like it though. Mostly the story it tells. Not the best chords... and the singer seems to be a bit of a poser. |

| Arctic Monkeys – Still Take You Home Lyrics | 19 years ago |

great.song. I love the parts where he talks fast like "Oh you say you have forgotten/But you're fibbin', oh don't tell me I'm wrong". I also love the transition between "Fancy seeing you in here/You're all tarted up, and you don't look the same" and "I haven't seen you since last year Yeah I'm suprised you hadn't forgotten my name". And who DOESN'T feel like "I'm having a job trying to talk to you" sometimes around people? I certianly do. |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – My Friends Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I sing this with Niko sometimes. It really helps her and I like the fact that I can do something to help her from being as depressed. It's a great song and I like the fact about Anthony seeing a girl on tv. The song is VERY deep...nice to talk about the meaning of. |

This song is awesome...me and some of my friends like, the 4 of us, all knew the lyrics to this song and we would sing it over and over and over again--especially in gym class. It reminds me of school in the Spring of last year cuz that's when we would sing it...friggin awesome lyrics. Pick any line off this song and it could be an absolutley perfect motto to live by. Okay, well, almost every line. --Chloe |

| Travis – Driftwood Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't know how I found this song but it's okay. I actually like the simplicity of it and I like that part that goes "So I'm sorry that you turned to driftwood / But you've been drifting for a long long time". Emotional line. What I do not like in this song is the part that goes "Waterfalls will find you, bind you, grind you"...too moanyish for my taste. | |
| Piece By Piece – Fuck Life Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I didn't even know this was a song. But I figured that there's one song title for everything you say so I thought I'd search "fuck life". Something I have been saying a lot latley. a lot. especially when people ask how my life has been going or when I am complaining about my life or when I'm listening to someone comlain about their life. y'know? |

| Oasis – Wonderwall Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Okay, just to clear up the Oasis / Beatles conflict, I once read an interview with Oasis in the a Rolling Stones issue and Liam said that they didn't WANT to change the world with their music, they are not sure that they really have, and that they just came to play the music. Secondly, I love the song. All the lyrics are remarkable and the emotion Liam puts into it just makes it...it's indescibable. I love "there are many things that I would like to say to you / but I don't know how" relates to EVERYONE. I also love how the song changes when it goes back to "today was gonna be the day / but they'll never throw it back to you". Very beautiful. Third, my friends and I also had an inside joke with this song. In latin class one day, I started singing "Wonderwall" and my friend joined in. When it got to the part that goes "I dont belive that anybody feels the way I do about you now" somebody else thought we said "about Matt now". Understand, this Matt was a really creepy perverted guy to us then. I told another one of my friends about the mix up and she started teasing me, saying that I actually liked Matt. Then she told Matt that I liked him. Not Fun. It took me forever & a lot of teasing to straighten that one out. In conclusion, AWESOME SONG. Many memories to take home with it. |

| Arctic Monkeys – The View from the Afternoon Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I dont care what this song means--it's not the kind of song that you need to know the meaning of and it probably doesn't have a meaning. Very literal lyrics. It has a fucking awesome groove though. | |
| Oasis – Champagne Supernova Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Well, first of all, I have to say that I love Oasis dearly. Their song "Wonderwall" is magnificent as well as this one and "Live Forever". When I was Younger, I always thought it was a firl that a guy liked. He always knew the girl existed but was too busy wasting away his life that he never realized the real greatness of her. Also, "Slowly walking down the hall/Faster than a cannonball" translates for me to "life then seemed to take forever but it was over so fast". |
