I was just wondering if maybe Peter is his friend that was referred to in "Fuck You Aurora", bout how he lost his friend when he moved to Aurora, IL. Just cuz he talks bout Peter being so far away. Either way I think he just needs a friend to drink with and console him. |

I was reading a site the other day talking bout Alkaline Trio should be classified as Intellipunk. So far thats the best damn genre I've heard them put into. They deserve it! Their lyrics are amazingly poetic, and I wouldnt doubt if they're studied in English classes in the future. |

I'm still tryin to completely figure out the meaning of this song. Like I see it as him being sad bout her leaving just as the best part started and maybe hes just happy cuz hes been drinking now. But then the last lyric kinda confuses me, "my heart bled for what you never did until NOW". The "now" part seems to kinda reverse the whole song. Maybe he is just now realizing that breaking up was for the best. |

I kinda see it as just him being in pain from her as in shes the "queen of pain" and the whole "king of rain" part means hes crying so much cuz hes hurt. Like in the drowning parts too. Its such an awesome song. I don't know which cd I like better, this one or Maybe I'll Catch Fire. |
