| Arch Enemy – Slaves of Yesterday Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah, great song indeed. Like cfury5 says, it's about the future generations who will be slaves of the short-sighted en egoïstic decisions we make in teh present. Mankind is destroying this earth and thereby the change of survival of future life. | |

"I won't close my eyes. I can see". Everybody can see but just some of them WANT to see and some of THEM conclude that they can not be responsible for this lunatic and systematic separation of body and soul of billions of lives. |

For me it's like a declaration about the basic reasons to be vegan. Or better: it's an eyeopener to let people see what they are guilty of every day of their lives: this sick treatment of billions of animals every day: "born to die". This is actually one of my all-time favourite song because the whole lyrics are so fuckin' true. There is no way you can't deny what this lyrics tells us. Still the majority of people keep closing their eyes and hearts and keep on massmurdering. On top of that they're wondering why some people are so depressive and desperate... |

| Maroon – Watch It All Come Down Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Desperate, all hope lost, this song. Awesome. At times you realise/think you're fighting for an unrealisable aim you want to watch it all come down. Let all (human) life come to an end to stop the massive suffering. Oh and I love the 'tribute to Slayer'-intro... |

This song is so motivating to stay vegan whatever how much bullshit people throw at you and how often you have to explain your life filosophy to people who only want to make fun of of you. "No matter what they say. Can't take this away from me." This is keeping me alive and you can't take this away from me. |

Another Maroon-song about Judgement Day. "The streets are filled with deformed human beings. Earthquakes take away countless lives." The human race wasn't able to treat Mother Earth with respect so we al have to die. I personally do not think all people are guilty - that would be spiecistic - but I understand the hate that makes this song so powerfull, I too get that feeling everyday when I'm walking on the streets and stuff. |
