I think this song is about a girl losing her virginity to someone she thinks is so great (like the comet hit is supposed to be). Is this how it happens? Is this how a star falls? (falling - losing her innocence?) After the crash, which is nothing spectacular (just leaves a few bruises) and gone in the blink of an eye, she gets up and feels dizzy (night spins around her) she is in shock at what she did after she realises it wasnt what she expected/wanted...so she just leaves him |

No-one has mentioned "I'll kiss you from your feet to where your head begins"... this song isn't about love, its about lust. He doesn't care about her face ie her personality, or what she is. He just cares about her body. "Make me hungry again" alludes to this lust. "Why cant I be you?" He is not as desirable as she is...seems to think he is inadequete, and has to "run around in circles" to get her attention. He wants to be her so that she will lust after him as much and he can have her |

I think people have the part about dreaming wrong...
