This song is amazing. To me it seems like this song is about two people who used to be in love/involved, but they aren't anymore. There's a lot of history there, probably some uncomfortable feelings, and maybe even an occasional longing for what used to be. Both parties want to be in each other's lives, and despite all mixed feelings know that they are better off not dating. So they stay friends. They're re-arranged. Sometimes talking things out only sweeps two people into an oblivion of hurt feelings. It's just better at this point to shake it off and enjoy what they have left together. |

I agree with the proposed changing of lyrics, and actually created this account for the purpose of righting them myself. Glad to see that someone else is paying attention. :) I think the version I have might be different? Because the lyrics in the one I'm listening to are definitely "On some relgion that he said newly found." instead of, "Unto his faith..." Aside from that possible difference, I agree with Avatar-rock's revisions. |
