'she dreams in colour...' she puts on her rose coloured glasses - it is an optimistic view of the world/relationship. Perhaps she's trying to be stong (for the kids?) and 'waiting for the world to come along' waiting for it to get better. It's driving her crazy. |

I feel that that "can't find a better man" means she thinks/thought that he is the best. She feeds him because she want's to make him stronger. He might be abusive but there are so many reasons/excuses, perhaps she thinks that 'feeding him' or loving him might change him. Delusional I know. |
