| this song is absolutley perfect and never gets old. it reminds me of high school summer nights when you feel like you own the world. i got "the impossible is possible tonight" tatooed on my wrist when i was 18, and my hardcore indian parents still cringe everytime they see it...hahaha but i dont care cause it reminds me to live in the moment. | |

this song makes me cry every time. its one that everyone can relate to, and i wish they put it on an actual death cab cd so more people could hear it. i went to college early, thinking it would be good to get a head start on life, and every day i regret it. this song describes how it felt exactly. i was stuck in this unfamiliar place all alone, and the only thing i looked forward to each day was a call from my mom. and i had to watch my friends having fun and spending the best 2 years of their lives without me. hahah ok so the moral of this story is nothing is worth giving up the time you have where you can just have fun in high school and be with your friends. yeah im 2 years ahead of every one, so what? i get to retire 2 years before them and get a headstart on rotting away sitting in my house. awesome. |
