I'm pretty sure "we felt the pressure drop" is a direct reference to actual barometric pressure, as in weather. The previous phrase is "the gray skies fell". It doesn't appear to be an interpreted meaning, just a straight statement. No matter what *caused* the gray skies to fall (personal revelation, lack thereof, appearance of something you'd call a god), the pressure dropped, like a storm was approaching. The 10 commandments pushing pressure on those who believe is a bit of a stretch; in fact I would venture to say that if you lived your life by the 10, you wouldn't see that as pressure, but as something else entirely. |

Wow you guys must be really young... like high school, possibly college frosh. It's a killer track, and it's too bad most of you are far too closed-minded to watch a band expand beyond their original simple pop-punk proclivities into something *way* more interesting. Easily one of the BEST tracks on the album. Like TetherGuitarist said, if you didn't expect this after listening to So Long Astoria, you need to pay more attention. |
