I think anyone who has felt the feeling of love. Knows the misery the ending leaves for days, months, even years to come. I believe they use the term "into the ocean." Wonderfully. Love is like a deep ocean, once your in-your in. Always. you may come above for air- but it always surrounds you, and often we feel if we were stronger, we could swim away from it. To land. The lines of: "Like jumping from the bow, yeah Just to prove that I knew how." Can have multiple meanings. I know I am the type of person- if someone notices my pain, my anger, my hurt. Or tells me I cannot do something- Like survive in the "ocean" I'm in, I look at them and say "Oh yeah? Watch me." And it pushes you, to prove them wrong. Basically, what's important is people interupt things differently. What you are feeling at the time creates how you interupt it. What you suffer from makes you relate to certain things better. |

I think anyone who has ever had a drug problem caused from depression can relate to this. Or anyone who has ever been deeply invovled with someone who has a drug problem. Or anyone who has had a drug problem with the person they are invovled with, and they come out of it and the other person, won't. "do you wanna get off is this your stop do you gotta have a triple decker super fudge sundae with a goddam cherry on top?" -This is the best way to say to someone- "What the fuck do you want than? Do you want to be with me? Is there something better for you out there?" "and you think that i just don't like it anymore but i'll tell you what i don't like i don't like that i have to put the training wheels back on your bike" -The lines "you think that I just don't like it anymore" shows the person may have also had a drug problem but came away from it. hint the title. |

i'm going through a sort of thing like this with a girl i'm recently invovled with- her brother and I were once good friends and have drifted, he does not want her around me, you see. He's a bit over-protective, even when she dates a man. This is her and I's song, especially the lines "they're gonna wanna know how we got in here and they're gonna wanna know how we plan to get out we better have a good explanation for all the fun that we had 'cause they are coming for us, babe and they are going to be mad yeah they're going to be mad at us" This song is about a complicated relationship- it seems as if she is invovled with a woman who is married- Thanks to the lines of "i gotta cover my butt 'cuz i covet another man's wife" Which is not going to be best if found out by the woman's husband. I love it. |
