Seriously, "ShadowGhozt" are you really that blind? along with what mitsukai posted and others similar, this song is clearly about God and not about Iraq. Believe it or not you people need to stop, sure it "sounds" like literal fallen soldiers in Iraq! but this is only to someone who doesn't have Christ in his/her life. AND HERES SOME PROOF, this song was written before the events of 911 even occurred therefore obviously before a single soldier died in Iraq. Dont believe me? research it yourself. This song was originally released on the "Beneath The Encasing Of Ashes" album which was released in June 12, 2001 and obviously WRITTEN even before that. |

well ill give my two cents but im not sure if anyone already stated what i will cuz i couldnt read through 100 comments. BUT i was unaware the song was about that book. im gonna have to get the book. Now ive heard the whole 16 minutes cutting the wrists theory and i think that pretty far fetched for JEW song but whatever. ive heard the 16 minute length is how long it usually takes to take off from Sky Harbor Airport on AVG.
ANYWAY the song is really simply brilliant, the guys just recorded the parts and went to lunch and when they came back Mark Trombino had this song done. there are SO MANY LAYERS in this song its nuts. Amazing song. you can hear the Postal Service influence at the end. Truly a song many will be influenced by.
