| Hey guys whats up, so i really like the interpertations you guys gave, but i read an interview with Chad Urmston about this song and basically Chad worked as the director for music at a camp for people that are physically and mentally challenged (Camp Jabberwocky, hence the Jub Jub Swing reference), there was a boy there named Manny who loved the Red Sox. That boy had a cane all his life until apparently they had to put him in a wheelchair (i guess in '73?) and Manny was really sad about that because he would not be able to walk around and be as active as he used to be. So Chad wrote this song for him, and about how Manny is a much stronger person than most of us. | |
