| Again, agreed...it sounds like, if not sexual abuse per se, definite abuse. Perhaps even child abuse, as 'I see the children, I see all their scars'. seems to imply relating to those in the same situation, and 'I fear the monsters, I don't know who they are'...could be referring to the fact that an abuser could be anyone; they look just like anyone else. An uncle, father, brother (or even a female abuser). 'Turning off inside' is one way victims of abuse deal with repeated or traumatic experiences. Just my two cents, it COULD mean something else entirely. | |

| God, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought something like that. *L* It really does sound like alien abduction. Although the 'making love to you' bit doesn't fit, unless it's a REALLY weird reference to alien rectal probes. O_o | |

Oh, yes, definitely about masturbation. Everything may not be 'sexual', but when a song blatantly says, "Got my head up in the clouds" "you feel it, running through your bones", followed by "And you JERK IT OUT!"....that is a pretty plausible conclusion to come to. I've tried to imagine it with other meanings, and everything else seems contrived. Besides, what is wrong with a harmless, catchy little tune about a guy...*ahem* engaging in a little solo fun? :) |
