it sounds kind of like maybe a song about religion. like "Our hearts were made For a much higher purpose" and "I’ve found deeper meaning in this game, and I am scared to hell because of it. " sounds like a pun. like he realizes something and is scared to hell? or the messenger thing, because most religions believe in prophets and such. really though, i have no clue.
