from looking at the lyrics i think that this song is about how corrupt the world is from all the sex, drugs and shit so the singer is saying "aw fuck it. im gonna have some fun". for some reason i always picture stacy keibler and triple H whenever i listen to this song. it's been a long time since i watched wrestling. |

it sounds to me that this song is about a guy who was in mexico during the summer and was accused of murder. he's telling the police officer i'm just having fun in mexico partyin' and that he didn't do anything wrong. hell yeah this song is awesome! especially live. |

OK I THINK THIS IS THE REAL MEANING OF THIS SONG. I READ THIS ON ANOTHER SITE AND HE SAID IT WAS FROM INTERVIEW WITH BON OR SOMETHING. There is a bar in Australia where on the way back from the bar to the highway is a road with "no stop signs, speed limits" where drunks drive as fast as they can and get into car crashes. I guess what Angus meant was that he was on the highway where many people ended up in hell, but that would be too long for the song title so "Highway To Hell" stuck. I am a Christian and I listen to this song so I don't think that this is about satanism. I think that they think they are going to hell anyways so might as well do all the fun stuff before dying. sex, drugs and rock n' roll! |
