Daniel Bedingfield – Friday Lyrics 18 years ago
The song is about going crazy missing someone. It could be because they are gone away for sometime, hence coming back on Friday. Or they could be gone for good (breakup, death?) and the singer is convinced that they will come back. The video leans a little toward both. In the end, the woman does come back.

New Found Glory – Radio Adelaide Lyrics 18 years ago
I'm wondering which Adelaide the title of the song comes from. I am from Adelaide the capital of South Australia, and NFG have done several shows here. But I also know that there are about three Adelaide's in the USA alone.

I also wonder which one girlznotgrey000 (above) is from.

Yeah, Payable On Death refers to Jesus death, and us facing up to how we have lived our lives upon our death.

As for the debate about them being a Christian band; It's true that they said they don't want to be defined as a Christian band. That's because of the limit that the Christian music industry seems to place on bands. And beside, in my opinion, defining a genre as Christian rock, or Christian rap, etc. for that matter, is like defining all the rap songs that are about drugs in one genre, and all the songs about sex in another. Christian is a theme, not a genre.

P.O.D. – Will You Lyrics 18 years ago
The video would suggest that it isn't purely about rape. More like sexual relationships where they are not ready to be sexual. Perhaps where the guy says he loves the girl just to get her into bed, hence the line, "Will you love me tomorrow?"

In the video, a couple goes onto the bathroom and the guy supposedly fingers the girl and just leaves, leaving the girl sitting there regretting it.

The video appears to also touch on the topic of alcoholism. So perhaps, to generalise, it is about things that affect relationships between people and the torment that they go through inside.

Alex Lloyd – Green Lyrics 19 years ago
Marijuana use is a good suggestion for a possible meaning, because Alex Lloyd did used to have a drugs and rock and roll kind of lifestyle which he has since given up as he now has a wife and child.

The suggestion of it being about some kind of relationship that may or may not start up is also a very real possibility, if anyone has seen the video for the song. It shows Alex's head on a body with moving parts that open up to show things such as butterflies in the stomach, etc.

Or, just another out there meaning: It could be a propoganda song for the Greens political party.
