From what I see, It's about denial 'I tell myself that I don't miss you at all'. To me, it isn't about dating status but possibly about a friendship? THe first verse is that the friends chosen to leave and get out and he's now struglling with the shock and how much it hurts they are gone. I think the chorus is that it hurts so much that the friend is gone and didn't care when he did that he is convincing himself he's not missing the friend and that he's better without them but he's devastated and hurt. The second verse is he's convincing everyone he's moving on and life goes on but he's still angry 'I'm glad you disappeared' Because he is still angry with the person he's out drinking and fighting and messed up and just wants to forget they are gone. But he's still convincing himself that he's glad they are gone forever. He's convincing himself he's not missing them at all. but "Not Lying, Denying that I feel so much now that your gone forever' he knows he's hurt and messed up because of them. 'First time you screamed at me I should have made you leave I should have known it could be so much better I hope you're missing me I hope I've made you see That I'm gone forever' This part is him wishing he never cared about the person at all... he wished they never met and he stopped knowing the person the first time they got in a fight. also because he's trying to convince everyone he's glad they are gone he's hoping that the other person is missing them and going through something too. And because they are gone forever He's hoping they are hurt and like the friendship is 'gone forever' My reading... it's kinda long sorry... |

| This song has so much meaning to me... Now I'm not suicidal nor do i often talk people out of suicide. But the powerful meaning in his voice brings meaning for me. It's Never Too Late. It brings something out of me the way those words are sung. I didn't even like Three Days Grace all that much before... But This song has brought a new obsession to me...I love it alot. | |
