I loooooove the new ablum! I really didn't think i would it love it this much! but idk, i can see the cheating idea but to me it's more he was in a relationship and when it was over he was the one left with the leftover feelings, the remainder of their relationship. And he is scared to ever get that hurt again so he runs at the first sight of an open door. And the deceit just being that he is so disconnected emotionally from any new relationships, despite the girls thinking he's on the same page as them. |

haha it's funny because at the end of december a guy, that i'll never know what we were, told me he just never saw whatever we were working out romantically and he'd understand if i never wanted to talk to him again or something and i basically replied with the first four lines of this song (never having heard it before) so i definitly relate to it. in my case, i never really got to being up and running again haha |

i agree with most people. I seriously am obsessed with this song at the moment (haha a little late, i know) to me it's finding someone or something that was starting to make things look up and change her and even if she wasn't able to keep that thing or person, she isn't going to lower her expectations now that she knows it is out there. haha yeah, the chorus reminds me of edward since i now i have horribly unrealistic expecations! |

I love this part: You lose your mind if you lose control: it makes you feel ashamed for the hearts you stole. And now your own heart's scared of an attack cause you can't give them back You're stressing me out you proved me wrong you're wearing me out cause I've slept so long I think the first two lines are how he can't ever like anyone back because he can't handle the uncertainess of relationships but then the second two lines are like this person has made him see that he actually can like people back and its so different and been so long so it's freaking him out. |

i dunno this is just a thought that suddenly occured to me but maybe it's about a loved one who died and maybe it has been a while and the person has had time to grieve and is at the point where they are just able to close their eyes and think about the person and feel their presence and even if they cry, its like celebrating their memories of the person mostly i got this because "weeping warm honey and milk" is kind of a juxtaposition because weeping is such a stong way to say crying so it makes me think of something really sad but then the warm honey and milk seems more positive. |
